This role is exclusive to Robert Half Talent Solutions. The business is located close to Leicester Junction 21 of the M1 and is commutable from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire / Coalville / Loughborough / Hinckley / Enderby / Nuneaton and Coventry. As the Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be focusing a lot more on the analytical side of Accounting and Finance. You will be dealing with large data sets and making sense of them to produce reports. This role will have strong involvement with Fixed Asset Register and Balance Sheets. You will also focus your time on preparing the Direct Debit income, taking control of the Bank reconciliations, assist with the fixed asset reconciliations and prepare VAT returns. The role does have variety, but you will find your typical day around the analytics.
To be successful as the Assistant Financial Accountant, you will have an eye for details and would have substantial experience working in an Accounting and Finance setting. You will also need to be comfortable with dealing with large data sets as this will be a major part of your day-to-day role. You will be someone who naturally looks for solutions to problems and challenges and is proactive in their approach to find the information required for their work. You will also be actively working towards your professional qualifications (ACCA / CIMA / ACA).
The package on offer for this role is £25,000 to £30,000, plus study support. The business has fantastic office space and allows flexibility with working.
