Established in 1978, Amathus Drinks Plc is a family-owned drinks importer, distributor and specialist retailer.

Our mission is simple: to provide first-class products and services to our customers in the on-trade, specialist retail and direct retail markets. Amathus prides itself on the exclusive portfolio it continues to meticulously source from all corners of the world. Over four decades we have sought unique products selected on the criteria of provenance, distinction and, more than anything else, exceptional quality. Our wine portfolio has grown exponentially over the past two years, all carefully sourced by our in-house Master of Wine, Jeremy Lithgow.

Wine & Spirits Advisor – South Kensington

The successful candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • Advanced knowledge of wines and spirits;
  • Experience of working in the drinks trade (sommelier, retail, off-trade, etc.);
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills;
  • The ability to take on extra tasks when required;
  • A willingness to learn and the physical ability to deal with large amounts of stock;
  • A willingness to work evenings and weekends.
