Location: Bristol Airport

Contract Type: Permanent (Full -Time)

Shift Pattern : Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities in this role will include:

  • To take overall accountability for the training schedule on site, keeping up to date with technical, mandatory and refresher training for all colleagues.
  • To devise and implement training courses
  • To be fully conversant with and comply with all current company rules, regulations, procedures, processes and polices, reporting any breaches
  • Working closely with the planning department and the central resourcing team to ensure recruitment numbers are met and also playing a key part in their onboarding process.
  • Maintenance of, and compliance with, the written CAA / DfT through training standards while overseeing and implementing all relevant security training legislation and changes
  • Manage a team of trainers and administrators
  • Identify, develop and design training interactions which contribute to the business, and to comply with any industry standards and legislation mandatory requirements.
  • Assist the HSES Manager in reviewing, developing and improving current practices via Risk Assessment & SSOW

Key skills and experience in this role will include:

  • Previous management experience – (minimum 6 months)
  • Proven work experience with in a training department
  • Experience working within the aviation industry
  • Experience working in training/recruitment is desired

Security Process to work within Aviation and Travel at DHL

  • Be able to provide 5 years address history
  • Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • To obtain a full airside ID
