A lovely one form entry school have reached out to Monarch Education to assist them in securing a long term Teaching Assistant to start in September . This role will continue throughout the whole academic year and the school require a candidate who will become a valued member of staff within the team and wider community.

As the Reception class Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with the Reception Teacher to provide an inclusive, exciting and positive classroom for all learners, at all levels. There may be times where you will be required to support small groups but only if required to do so.

The school’s Senior Leadership Team have emphasised they would like a candidate with experience in the EYFS curriculum as well as the passion and confidence within the classroom.

There is a requirement to attend after school clubs during this role, this will be discussed further into the application.

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Have experience working with children or young people
  • Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
  • Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
  • Have excellent behaviour management skills
  • Have knowledge of phonics and reading (desirable not essential)
