Applications are invited for a 12 month fixed term part time (6PA) consultant in rheumatology at Denmark Hill.
The Department of Rheumatology is a dynamic, forward thinking department delivering a range of rheumatology services within the Division of non-acute specialty medicine. It provides specialist clinics in inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases and metabolic bone disorders. The service is outpatient focused, with facilities for day care and in-patient care when needed.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will predominantly provide outpatient clinics. Ideally we are looking for a candidate with an interest in inflammatory arthritis but there is flexibility with the job plan and we would consider candidates with a wide range of subspecialty interests.
Applicants should also have experience in the day to day organisation of rheumatology services in a busy Teaching Hospital, experience of undergraduate and post-graduate teaching or research. Successful candidates will possess CCT or eligible to apply for a Consultant position pending completion of CCT and must be fully registered with the GMC.
