Permanent, Full Time
The School of Computing and Engineering is seeking to recruit two new Lecturers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The person appointed will have a first degree and PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and will have a publication record in this field. It would be desirable for candidates to have a track record of high-quality peer reviewed outputs.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate evidence of successful undergraduate teaching in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Experience in administrative duties and a willingness to undertake administrative duties is also essential. These two posts will support both our UK on-campus and collaborative teaching provision in China and the Middle East. It will therefore be essential that candidates are able to travel abroad, spending considerable time away from their UK base (usually for six-week periods typically up to twice a year).
The post-holder will have effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, be committed to the development of themselves and others and supportive of equal opportunities. They will be able to work as part of a team and interested in contributing to novel approaches to research and teaching.
