Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Team.

It is essential that the applicant holds administrative qualifications, along with previous experience, has a high level of audio typing skills, excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and a good telephone manner. A flexible approach to work is needed to meet the demands of the service.

The post holder will possess excellent time management skills, be well organised and have the ability to prioritise workload demands to meet strict deadlines, whilst producing work to the highest standards.

The post holder will also have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using discretion, judgment and initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential together with a keen eye for detail, with the ability to process and generate urgent and routine correspondence.

Applicants must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a high standard of customer care at all times.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
