Location: Remote working with 1/2 days in office per month (UK office locations – Edinburgh / London)

Duration: 6 months initial contract with potential extensions

Area: Finance & Risk Solutions

Pay rate inside IR35.

What you will do:

As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll support on identifying technical solutions that deliver value to stakeholders and lead in the definition and realisation of solutions, processes, benefits, avoidance of cost, identification of new opportunities, understanding of required capabilities and modelling the organisation.

The skills you’ll need:

We’re looking for an experienced technical analyst to sit in feature teams within Finance & Risk Solutions, who has the ability to drive the analysis and collection of information to create recommendations for modernising the estate in terms of applications, infrastructure and wider digital transformation.

You’ll also need the below skills and experience:

  • Experience of delivering technical analysis in a technical team.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Confident in facilitating user story writing and acceptance testing.
  • Experienced in synthesising large amounts of information to be able to plan logically to enable/support team members.
  • Experience with waterfall/ agile methodologies.
  • Good attention to detail to capture requirements and traceability.
  • Experience in the banking industry would be desirable.
  • Able to bridge the gap between technology and business by understanding technology builds and the language used.
  • Experience with technologies such as ATM, PDP, NET, would be desirable.
