DNA Recruit are working with a global integrated communications agency who work with a broad spectrum of clients from mobile to retail, to FMCG, and some of the worlds best known iconic brands, leading everything from their social media to launching campaigns to DM and web build. Our client also provides very senior strategic planning for their clients, customer journey mapping and helping clients to envision their future business, communication and beyond. The role of Senior Account Manager is to manage and communicate with clients and the internal team, to build strong relationships with agency counterparts, help develop junior team members and manage-up by keeping the Account Director/Business Director informed across key information and detail and fully owning the day-to-day financials on the account by flagging promptly and timely when projects are under/over budget and finding solutions with AD/BD. Key responsibilities include:

  • Client management and communication and ensuring close relationship with clients, capturing, simplifying, and filtering client feedback clearly and concisely to the wider agency and client teams.
  • Presenting and contributing to mid-level client meetings ensuring the agenda and objectives on next steps are clear and concise.
  • Supporting relationships with creative and strategic agency counterparts, working together throughout development and ensuring it is fit for channel and preparing insightful, inspiring, creative briefs and leading agency briefings when required.
  • Working with agency counterparts creating strong internal relationships with face to face catch ups where appropriate rather than email!
  • Owning the day-to-day financials on the account, flagging budget issues with respective BD/AD and growing the agency and client’s business.
