Our client, a growing, internationally renowned accounting practice based in Leatherhead, have engaged with Robert Half to secure an Audit Manager to support the delivery of statutory audit and statutory accounting preparation for their varied client base. This role will report directly to an Audit Director and Audit Partner and will be an integral part of the firm’s assurance function.

The Role

The Audit Manager will take responsibility for:

  • Regular meetings with the owners and/or the directors of the firm’s clients
  • Liaising closely with partners on their clients’ affairs from an audit and commercial perspective
  • Provision of accountancy and commercial management support to clients
  • Audit risk assessment, planning and delivery
  • Cost effective delivery of financial statements that meet relevant statutory reporting requirements (under IFRS and UK GAAP)
  • Involvement in one-off work, such as due diligence, investigations and valuations
  • Quality control and continuous improvement of our processes
  • Team leadership and the development of junior staff
  • Involvement in proposals for new work and business development initiatives
  • Great scope for capable individuals to broaden their business skills across the Corporate Services and Taxation Departments from involvement in due diligence, accountancy support and other commercial advisory assignments.

Your Profile

As the successful Audit Manager, you will be an experienced and fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with audit experience in practice.

This would be an ideal role if you are looking for a broader management level opportunity within practice where you will gain more hands-on financial accounting exposure.

Salary & Benefits

This Audit Manager role will pay £60,000-£75,000 per annum DoE plus new client bonus scheme, recruitment bonus scheme, 6% pension, 25 days annual leave, free on site gym, private healthcare and income protection plus additional benefits. Parking is available on site and the office is also easily commutable via public transport. Work from home is available 2 days per week and the business operates core hours 10am-4pm daily.
