The NIHR BioResource is recruiting a Senior Business Administrator to manage our HR and administrative functions, including line management of the Business Administration Team. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the team.

About the job:

As the Senior Business Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the NIHR BioResource Administration Office
  • Managing HR related activities, including staff recruitment
  • Managing our office space and infrastructure
  • Providing support to the Business Manager
  • About you:

    Ideally you will have:

  • Experience in a Senior Administrative Role, ideally in a higher education or public sector setting
  • Experience in an HR role, including staff recruitment
  • Excellent level of organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the management of staff

    The post is available on a fixed-term basis until 30 November 2024 in the first instance. NIHR BioResource is funded by the National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR) on a 5-year funding cycle. It has been announced recently that NIHR BioResource will receive new funding for the next 5-year period.
