As an Engagement Officer your will join the Directorate of Transformation and Sustainability based at Ailsa Hospital, Ayr.

You will identify innovative and creative ways of engaging with our citizens, communities, staff and stakeholders and support the team to advise and deliver engagement activity for the Caring for Ayrshire programme. You must be passionate and have experience of involving and empowering our communities to get involved.

A working knowledge of Planning with People guidance is essential. 

Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge with experience of planning, delivering and evaluating stakeholder engagement, this post will be critical in ensuring that NHS Ayrshire and Arran meets its statutory and policy requirements. You will work in partnership with stakeholders, both locally and regionally, to co-ordinate engagement activity across the health and social care system. This post requires demonstrable experience of engagement methodologies, networking, project work, with strong communication and organisational skills. 

Driving Licence is essential (as you will be expected to travel across Ayrshire and Arran with a requirement to work in the evening or weekend on occasion.)

Hours: 37.50 per week.

This is a fixed term/secondment opportunity until 31 March 2024.
