Trainee Accountant – Level 3 Apprentice
Our client is looking for a dedicated and collaborative Trainee Accountant – Level 3 Apprentice to join their inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time Assistant Accountant role is based in London and comes with a salary of up to £23k p/a and many excellent benefits.
As a flexible Trainee Accountant, you will daily update bank transactions and cash and bank reconciliation for each site within the group entities. You will also prepare daily and periodic sales analyses or sales reports as required site by site, including at the group level.
To give you an idea of how this Level 3 Accountant Apprentice role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:
- Resolve differences and deal with branch queries professionally and promptly
- Conduct stock audits, cash audits and asset audits
- Train new joiners on financial systems and processes and ensure smooth operational flow
- Ensure invoices are matched to the correct PO and coded to the correct nominal account and code centre
To apply for this trainee finance job, you will need an enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others. You will also require excellent communication, administration and organisational skills with a proven ability to juggle many tasks.
In addition, you should have a basic understanding of book-keeping skills and accountancy, along with professional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the suite of Microsoft Office applications. A demonstrated aptitude and competence in using accounting and various software is also essential.
