The School

This is a large Enfield school (4 form entry) which was recently graded as “outstanding” after their most recent Ofsted. The school is part of a large Academic trust, and you will be working in one of the primary schools sites for this particular role.

The school has a staff carpark and is well served by public transport, with an underground station 10 minutes away.

The Role

This role will involve you working as the school SEN/ Inclusion Administrator. Your duties will include(but not be limited to):

  • Organising all SEN paperwork and SEN records in the school
  • Overseeing the annual SEN review process, ensuring that all paperwork is presented to the team in good time and completed to strict deadlines
  • You will be keeping on top of EHCPs(Education Health and Care Plan) for children at the school
  • This will be quite a varied role and you will be working very closely with the school SENCO and SEN team as well as teachers, parents/carers and on occasions, working with external providers, such as the local education authority to request additional support for children when needed etc.

    The school requires someone with experience of working in the area of special needs and it is essential that you have experience of the administration/paperwork involved.

    You should have an excellent understanding of the SEN process, a good eye for detail and be highly organised.

    The school have requested someone with excellent IT and record-keeping skills and who is a great relationship builder.

    This is a full time role, Monday to Friday and you will be providing SEN/ Inclusion Admin support to two primary schools within the group.

    Please note that the school will only consider applicants with previous experience as an SEN Administrator, or with an excellent working knowledge with the paperwork and processes involved with special educational needs in a primary school.

    The salary for this role will be £80-100 per day, Monday to Friday, term time only.
