The Team and opportunity

Our Insurance Transformation team, is at the heart of supporting our clients in shaping, planning and delivering critical business change. The team focuses on transforming the performance of organisations helping them focus on the customer to drive growth and implement an operating model that is efficient. The role

We are seeking a Manager to deliver, and manage transformation engagements in the Insurance sector. The role will also require supporting major bids and proposals, and delivering streams of work within complex transformation programmes.

The main duties and responsibilities of the job

Using Insurance experience and knowledge, lead small engagements including setting up the engagement, scoping the work, planning the work and briefing and leading a team of consultants.
Autonomously and efficiently manage large scale client engagements
Managing senior client stakeholders to ensure that they are happy with the progress and deliverables
Participating in business development activities such as responding to RFPs (requests for proposals) and presenting or pitching to clients to win new business
Managing and developing junior members of the team

Skills, qualifications and experience required for the role

Strongly encourage prior experience in consulting or leading business transformation programmes in the capacity of Project/Programme Manager applying relevant methods including; Lean, Agile, operating model design, change management, technology and/or digital change.
Project/Programme Management experience to include establishing programme management mechanisms and procedures, including ensuring a suitable governance structure is in place, reporting programme status, progress, milestones, budget, risks & issues to the relevant forums and escalation as appropriate, planning, risk & assurance, communication flow, workstream charters, and financials & budget
Experience working in the Insurance sector (preferably General Insurance and Commercial specialty) is essential.
In-depth understanding of the key industry, market and regulatory drivers shaping the Insurance industry and an ability to articulate these by way of client opportunities.
Experience of managing and mentoring staff and helping with their personal and professional development.
The Insurance Transformation Services practice focusses on the delivery of strategic changes that encompass innovation, customer experience, growth transformation, regulatory change and large-scale cost reduction/efficiency improvements.
