KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Experience working within a team, supporting colleagues and making a positive contribution.

Experience of effective and proven employee/customer service administration skills.

Experience of proficient updating and working with various IT systems maintaining accurate records.

Experience of advising internal & external customers on both policies/ procedures, relevant legislation within a HR or customer service environment.

Understanding of the Data Protection Act and its application.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervsion.

Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines taking personal responsibility for prioritising workloads in accordance with agreed deadlines and, maintaining a focus on customer service.

Ability to produce written documents to a high standard paying meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to produce spreadsheets and present statistical information.

Ability to collate and record information from a variety of sources.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Customer Service or Administration Qualification to Level 2 or equivalent level of experience.

OTHER

Actively seeks ways to develop understanding of organisational and HR issues.

An understanding and commitment to Continuous Professional Development including a record of developing own CPD.

Able to demonstrate a personal commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in line with force values.

Must have the ability to travel around the County to various locations as and when required.

The post holder will be required to pass vetting at RV level.
