The Team

The Real Estate Division is one of Addleshaw Goddard’s largest teams. Within the division sits our Construction & Engineering Team, this is a fundamental area of our business and therefore we are deeply committed to it. The group is one of the markets largest and most specialist construction law teams in the UK, boasting over 70 lawyers. Our Team in Manchester consists of 4 partners and over 20 other fee earners. The team’s specialist experience combined with their commerciality, great relationships and innovation are the reason that they remain ranked in Tier 1 in both Legal 500 and Chambers.

The team advise on every aspect of Construction Law across all sectors of the industry, both contentious and non-contentious. The team have an impressive domestic portfolio of work and clients and are also leading on some of the largest international constructions cases. The work of the group is hugely varied and includes buildings, civil and process plant engineering, energy, infrastructure and utilities – across both private and public sectors. The team also provide project support and advice to our wider Real Estate, Banking and Projects teams.

The Opportunity

Knowledge skills and experience

You will have:

  • Experience in contentious construction law
  • A knowledge of key areas of the law with the ability to provide clear, precise, practical advice
  • Ability to achieve continuous improvement and development 
  • A proven record of a high standard of client care for existing clients at the highest level.
