Quality Engineer duties include –

  • Provide technical direction on Quality engineering to the Production team.
  • Implementation of problem-solving tools, ensuring non-conforming products aren’t supplied.
  • Deal with customer complaints and action these accordingly.
  • Liaise with project staff to help continuous improvement within the workplace.
  • Work on internal audits, both process, and product.
  • Assist with the training of other staff and offer technical support to customers.

  • Experience working within a similar role.
  • Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
  • An appreciation for tools such as 8D, NCR, and APQP.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering education (HNC/HND), or training.
