Field Sales Representative

THE ROLE: As a Field Sales Representative in the region of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, London, Essex, and Kent your role will be to sell a range of power tools products & the associated fixings and fastening solutions to End users within the Construction Industry. You will demonstrate products to Contractors in the Construction and Industrial sectors, whilst also looking after some of the largest ‘house accounts’ for the business who are classed as re-seller businesses. The remit is predominantly account management, but your skill set as a Field Sales Representative will enable you to introduce new products to new end users and grow the existing account base on the area.

As a Field Sales Representative you will be dealing with a variety of decision makers from stores & procurement through to business owners and board level contacts. This is a hands on, high activity, field sales position where you will have your hard hat on one minute selling to operatives on-site, and the next being in a suit in a board room negotiating contracts for hire & sales of tools with contractual agreements to supply accessories and fixings to go with them.

This is a varied field sales role which would suit someone who has trade counter or inside sales experience within the construction sector looking to get on the road, or someone who is in an existing field sales position and is keen to move industry sector.

Requirements: To be considered for the Field Sales Representative role you must have:

  • B2B sales experience, internal or external.
  • Ideally come from the construction industry but not essential.
  • Have ideally sold a product rather than a service.
  • Have a strong work ethic and passion for sales.
  • Are physically able to demonstrate power tools to customers.
  • Full UK drivers licence.

THE PACKAGE FOR THE FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE:

Basic: £30,000

OTE: £10k Year 1 – uncapped
