Local Authority in Nottinghamshire currently require Family Support Workers for an initial period of 6 months.
Job Purpose:
The right candidate will contribute to the assessment process and implementation of the service plan for a child and his/her family, by offering direct support, practical help and advice. Working within the legislative and statutory planning frameworks, Government Guidance, the Council’s core values and strategic aims, and the Department’s policies and procedures to ensure the best possible outcomes for Children in Care.
You will be expected to support Social Workers with Assessments, direct work with young people, education plans (ePEPS), safe and well visits, working with young people and families, and some supervised contacts.
– PAYE – £12.00
– Umbrella – £14.00
– 37 Hours
– 6 month contract initially
