I am currently looking for a residential support worker to join a thriving therapeutic support provider in the Leicester area, who would be joining a residence that provides a nurturing, supportive, structured and stable environment around the clock.

This residence currently provides support to 3 young people between the ages of 9 and 18 of mixed genders who have emotional, developmental and/or behavioural difficulties. This residence prides itself on providing first-class residential care which benefits from modern well-equipped facilities.

The children/young people within this residence can often find themselves in emotionally challenging situations and may act inappropriately under the pressure of the situation. Due to this, staff members are required to act flexibly and quickly to the changing demands.

Your role will involve mentoring, educating and supporting the young people (8-18) who have EBD, Autism and Learning difficulties – all while allowing personal and practical development. You will report and record certain aspects of care, in order to monitor development.
