Capgemini Engineering is recruiting for Procurement Administrators to support operations of a leading space industry manufacturer in Portsmouth or Stevenage.
Your role
Working directly on-site with the customer, you will take a key role in delivering Capgemini Engineering and customer projects. The candidate will be expected to utilise existing engineering structure supporting similar topics to provide informed services to a new customer.
key responsibilities include:
Manage Purchase Order Activities and Status in order to expediting delivery
Management of UK and European SMEs
Product line: Space Industry Materials and Parts. Including Detailed Parts, Fabrications, Fasteners and Adhesives. Build to Print.
Foster excellent relationships with stakeholders to maximize performance levels
Regularly attend drumbeat meetings covering planned actions, status reporting and escalations
Executing reporting on regular basis to support business activities
Share knowledge of risks and incidents including; extracts, analysis and impacts
Placing purchase orders for new parts
Close supplier relationships for visibility of inbound shipments
Communicating risk/delays on orders
Populating SAP with latest information
Your profile
SAP P11
Must be able to demonstrate procurement operations and project management experience
Knowledge of aerospace supplier environment and specific customer beneficial
Demonstrate supplier relationship management skills with the ability to manage and lead procurement processes
Current operational roles will require consultants to be available to support customers on-site for contracted periods
