International Sales Advisor (Mandarin Speaking)

Location: London

Salary: £24,000 per annum

Hours: You will be working 5 days per week, Saturday to Wednesday from 7am to 3.30pm.

Contract: This is a 5 month fixed term contract

The Role

You will form an integral part of the international sales team delivering high quality sales and customer service, whilst working collaboratively with colleagues, agents and students. You will ensurestudents bookings are processed in a timely manner, and you will be involved in sales for both short stays and academic year bookings.

What you`ll be doing

  • Assisting agents in a professional and courteous manner and providing information regarding our properties and services across the UK.
  • Conducting sales conversations with International agents and sometimes with students, with passion and enthusiasm and in accordance with the Unite Students sales process, via varous channels including WeChat, Webchat, calls, emails …
  • Processing room availability checks for short stays and for academic year stays; answering agents and student enquiries
  • Following-up on any customer related issues requiring action in a timely manner, engaging with other colleagues when necessary
  • Providing a decisive and effective response to complaints, assisting in and resolving customer disputes and escalating where necessary
  • Maintaining Unite Students` information systems including the booking system, MS Excel spreadsheets, ensuring customer data is accurate, secure and compliant with the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
