Tax Advisory Manager

What is the role?

As a Tax Advisory Manager working within our flagship Esher office, you will be involved with tax planning, advisory work and assisting with the implementation tax projects. The role will also involve dealing with ad-hoc tax queries from General Practice partners and dealing with some tax compliance in specialist areas. with the below key tasks being carried out.

  • Responsible for tax planning and advisory work for a portfolio of clients
  • Identifying opportunities and working with the clients
  • Dealing with ad-hoc queries from the General Practice partners and the Tax Compliance teams
  • Assisting the Tax Partners with the implementation of projects
  • Assisting the Tax Partners with ad-hoc advisory work
  • Following established procedures for workflows and updating these when necessary
  • Dealing with tax enquiries
  • Conducting technical research
  • Liaising with Partners
  • What you will need to be;

  • Be authentic in every situation and like to be connected to your team, clients and local communities

  • Be driven to succeed, take initiative and want results
  • As well as the above you will be ATT/CTA/ACA or ACCA with tax experience , have experience of working in a small or mid-tier accountancy practice with exposure to owner-managed businesses, researching technical issues and preparing technical reports, and providing tax advisory services/ working on projects, as well as a broad and general tax knowledge of all aspects of direct taxes.
