Pure Resourcing Solutions are pleased to be working exclusively on this new opportunity based near Bedford.

My client is a fast paced and dynamic technology business with investment backing, growing both acquisitively and organically. This role will be to drive the financial management of one of their group companies, and is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing tech group.
You will be the finance lead for the site, which reports to a group finance function. The group has created a collaborative and inclusive culture, where challenging the status quo is encouraged. 


The purpose of the role is primarily focused on driving preparation of management accounts and reporting into Group, alongside identifying and implementing improvements in processes and controls. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the finance team working with the senior management at Company and Group level, helping to drive the business forward.

The main duties-

  • Production of monthly Management Accounts
  • Liaising with Group and providing a narrative to support the variances in numbers
  • Develop meaningful reporting and analysis
  • Overseeing the day to day running of the bookkeeping
  • Manage statutory audits and accounts
  • Review and improve financial processes and controls
  • PAYE/VAT and Corp tax returns
  • Other duties as per the job description

    • The successful candidate must have: –

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role within industry (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong technical accounting skills and understanding financial control
  • Experience in preparing management and statutory accounts
  • Well organised with good planning skills
  • Ability to partner and support with changes to process and ways of working
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills, Excel of particular value
