Assistant Management Accountant

Birmingham – Solihull

6-9-month contract

£14.00 p/h

To assist the Management Accountant to ensure budgets are maintained and monitored. In addition to this, the role will involve assisting with the cash flow forecasting and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures.

  • Business planning/Budget Setting
  • Meeting business planning timetable, data input to report distribution
  • Month end reporting – accruals/prepayments/Budget meetings
  • Control Accounts
  • To assist the Management Accountant to monitor expenditure on capital equipment and buildings throughout the financial year
  • To maintain and uphold the integrity of the ledger and reporting system.
  • To assist the Management Accountant to prepare and input budget journals for original and revised budgets onto the Financial Management System on a timely and accurate basis including balance sheet and capital budgets.
