duties
Provide advice and resolve all employees on all HR queries, seeking additional support from specialist teams where required (ranging from policy advice, change, recruitment, reward, learning and development and transactional HR)
Process the monthly payroll including new starters, movers, leavers, family leave and other contractual changes within SLAs and to an exceptional degree of accuracy.
Responsible for reviewing, authorising and advertising all vacancies efficiently and via the correct advertising channels, in line with key processes and legislation.
Produce and send all letters in relation to the monthly payroll, change and ad-hoc letters as required to an exceptional degree of accuracy.
Provide advice and guidance to candidates and hiring managers on the recruitment process and how to use the recruitment system, seeking additional advice from Talent Acquisition as required
Creation and sending out of all new starter and internal mover contracts, including uploading new starters / internal movers to the onboarding site, processing of all criminal record checks and ensuring references and new starter health questionnaires are completed.
Proactively collaborate with People Services Advisers in the management of complex transactional cases such as long-term sickness or probation terminations.
Manage the Change Programme inbox when assigned to Change, ensuring queries are responded to or employees are signposted to the most appropriate support.
Any other duties as reasonably required in line with skills, knowledge, and experience
To apply you must have
Experience providing advice and guidance via phone in a service focused environment
Ability to work at pace and deliver against multiple deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills and a customer focused mindset
Able to identify and put forward ideas for continuous improvement
Experience of using MS Office, specifically word and excel
