Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting an Interim Finance Director to work with an international consultancy firm who are mobilising a new contract for a client based in Leeds. The role will lead a team of 10 finance professionals and will involve significant stakeholder management both internally and externally.

Key duties of the Interim Finance Director position will involve:

  • Oversee the planning, budgeting and forecasting process
  • Build and maintain a monthly financial reporting suite of accounts
  • Prepare actual versus budget variances
  • Review P&L with Operations Director and present externally to client stakeholders
  • Supervise a team of 10+ staff

The candidate we are looking to appoint into this role will be required to have the following:

  • Recognised Accountancy Qualifications (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
  • Proven Interim experience with the ability to hit the ground running quickly
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • A self starter with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Available to start the assignment on a short notice period

In return the successful candidate will receive the following

  • £450 – £500 per day on a PAYE basis
  • Potential for permanent opportunities if desired
  • An exciting interim assignment that could last in the region of 6 months
