A UK based, customer centric online retailer is recruiting an Operations Manager to manage the daily operational relationship with the 3PL partner to ensure that all SLA’s are met ensure that they deliver a first class service to all your customers. It is an exciting time to join the business as it is undergoing change and is currently performing exceptionally well given the current retail climate.

The company offers a market level salary, Circa £40-£45k, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, bonus scheme, pension scheme, healthcare, and a generous staff discount. The role will be mostly be spent on site at the Northampton DC but may offer flexible working from home.

You will be responsible for:

  • Support all ongoing Operational Improvement projects.
  • Continually strive for Operational efficiencies including Supply Chain and Customer care.
  • Stock management: Ensuring that the 3PL has all of the stock required to meet order all orders.
  • To work with the wider business to understand seasonal fluctuations, promotions, product launches and more and to then ensure that the Operations supports this.
  • To be successful within the role you will have:

  • Proven experience of working within retail or online retail operation as a manager.
  • The experience in the effective management of a 3PL.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence.
  • Strong WMS knowledge and the ability to analyse data.
