With a national presence of over 200 fee earners our Real Estate teams are a force to be reckoned with. The team is big but it doesn’t mean we’ve lost our personal touch.  It’s the quality and commerciality of our service, our industry insight and the talent and passion of our people that engages our clients, and they love what we do.

We need people who are keen to be part of an ambitious team focused on growth and success, who are prepared to work hard and reap the rewards. Just as important though is the ability to have fun, to be inspired by the work you do and to enjoy the company of your colleagues. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

What is the role?

You’ll experience a wide range of property matters from acquisitions and disposals, development work and asset management work for investors, to corporate support and real estate finance. We have a diverse mix of clients that span the public and private sector and include commercial developers, regeneration companies, household names in house building and retail, as well as offices, shopping centres and industrial/warehouse schemes.

Transactions are often high value and offer an excellent opportunity to be involved in high profile quality work.

Working with the wider Real Estate team across the country there will be plenty of opportunity for client contact and you’ll be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with these contacts. Business development is an important aspect for all of our lawyers, and you will be able to contribute to the growth of the team by assisting with the organisation of client events, writing articles for our website and other marketing activities.

What  does the ideal candidate look like?

Depending on your PQE, you’ll bring a skillset that includes previous experience of commercial real estate work, ideally with exposure to development work from a large firm. As important though are excellent drafting skills, and a desire to get stuck into a broad mix of work.

What makes it great to work here?

As signatories to the Mindful Business Charter, it’s important that our people are able to maintain healthy and happy lives, both in and out of work.  We have a number of resources and initiatives designed to support health and wellbeing, including our team of dedicated mental health first aiders.  We recognise that getting the right work life balance is a priority for all of us and we’re very happy to talk flexible working, full-time or part-time working patterns.
