Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of United Utilities for a Customer Advisor Advanced to join one of their teams within the Developer Services and Metering department on a 6-month contract basis initially. The role is based at their fantastic head office in Great Sankey, Warrington where successful candidates will have access to a variety of onsite facilities including free parking, on-site gym, restaurant and coffee shop. There is also a free shuttle bus running from the town centre of Warrington.

Job Purpose
The Customer Advisor Advanced role within the Developer Services and Metering team is a wide-ranging role supporting a number of activities including frontline customer service activities, LCSP, mailbox management, ownership of customer and developer queries, tracking of new connections and back office administrative support for the wider team.

Job Accountabilities
* Dealing with telephone queries from customers / developers
* Interrogation of customer requirements establishing flow rates, size of connection and meter requirement
* Updating SAP and INS systems with customer information and producing accurate resolutions
* Providing customers with budgeting costs
* Creating quotations for customers on SAP and generating work orders to contractors
* Dealing with written & verbal complaints
* Handling payments from customers and raising sales orders/invoices
* Co-ordination of plot / address information with customers and Data and Knowledge management
* Providing support and advice to other roles within Customer Operation
* Adherence to all business key performance indicators
* Resolution of billing exceptions

Knowledge and Skills
* Excellent experience in a customer facing organization
* Good understanding of Water and Wastewater asset records
* Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft office applications
* Ability to deal with customer queries over the phone
* Good communication and organisation skills
* Experience of working with contract partners

Additional Information
This role will be working Monday – Friday 37 hours per week between 8am and 6pm
