About the Role: We are looking for a Graduate Intern (f/m/d) to join our Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) team to provide support managing a wide range of tasks for our processes. This position is based in Dundee, starting as soon as possible for a period of 6 months.
Responsibilities:
Support the EH&S team with a variety of tasks in different, interesting projects
Review safety data sheets and transfer specific information into a new chemical inventory database
Support audit administration to summarise findings and capture actions
Support annual health surveillance appointments and any necessary follow ups identified through risk assessment
Administer Display Screen Equipment assessments, actions outstanding and tracking closure
Record observations and actions from associates from area/process inspections and tracking to completion
Capture monthly metrics and support producing checklists for area/process inspections
Admin support in creating documented information required in various aspects of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
Required Qualifications:
You are a graduate student of Business, Quality Management, or any Environment, Health and Safety studies
You are passionate about learning new things, are agile and have great communication skills
You have great MS Office skills, especially with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
You provide excellent administrative and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
You have the attention to detail when dealing with different tasks at the same time
You enjoy working independently but also have a strong focus on teamwork and inclusion, also in a virtual environment
You are confident to take on new challenges
Ideally you have experience working with a Quality or EH&S management system
This position requires access to information or items that are export controlled under U.S. law. Any offer will be conditioned upon Gore obtaining export control authorization for the candidate under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as required by the position.
