Robert Half Talent Solutions are working in an exclusive partnership with a global business located on the Leicestershire / Derbyshire border in Castle Donington on their search for a new Commercial Finance Analyst to join their business. The role will be based at the firms impressive head office function with is commutable distance from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Coventry / Warwickshire, Nottingham and Derby.
Reporting to the FP&A manager, this exciting Commercial Financial Analyst role will see you being involved in the business from both a commercial and a reporting perspective. Responsibilities will include post month end P&L reviews with budget holders, kpi reporting and analysis, budgeting / forecasting, forward planning, proactive and reactive financial analysis to support decision making across the business. There is little to none involvement in month end apart from the occasional journal correction.
The role reports into an experienced FP&A Manager who is highly commercial, they are well experienced in developing and coaching & they have a history of their team being promoted in a bigger roles in the business.
The business is dynamic and no two months will be the same.
They are keen hire a candidate who is ambitious and looking to pursue roles in either FP&A or Commercial Finance & Analysis. The role will grow and develop into a bigger role in the future. The client is open to candidates who are either qualified or in the late stages of studying for either the CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification. The will provide study support in order to help you qualify. You will have great communication skills and be confident in working with directors and have the ability to challenge & guide decision making.
The business is great to work for, they have adopted a modern approach to their employees and offer hybrid working arrangements with a mixture of in office and home working. This can be as much as one day in the office per week and the remainder from home or if you prefer 5 days in the office – the business is really flexible on this.
The role has a salary range of £45,000 to £53,000 plus a generous benefits package.
