• To undertake strategic planning and research tasks that enable the successful delivery of the Local Plan, Area Action Plans and other strategic planning projects.
  • To provide strategic planning expertise on a range of policy issues, and the implementation of Council, public and/or private sector development schemes and regeneration initiatives in the Borough partnership working with key stakeholders.
  • To undertake timely and meaningful engagement of public stakeholders in the above processes and ensure compliance with Government legislation.
  • To ensure statutory and legal obligations are delivered and communicated in a customer focussed manner, optimising available resources.
