The Role

You will join one of the UK’s leading Data Protection & Tech teams in the firm’s Manchester office.

You will have hands-on involvement in data protection and tech projects for clients ranging from high profile startups to multinational PLCs. You will be supported to develop a reputation in a specific sector and have support to build your own client relationships.

The work involves a broad mix of matters, including regulatory compliance, DSRs, GDPR and drafting & negotiating commercial contracts.

Requirements

  • As a guide, this role would suit a Commercial Lawyer with 3 years PQE
  • Experience gained in data protection/privacy work
  • General commercial lawyers will be considered if you have a genuine desire to focus on DP-related work
  • Experience gained in a respected city or regional law firm, or equivalent in-house legal team
