We are looking for a Meetings and Events Manager to lead and support the Welcome Events Planners Team and work collaboratively with our meeting rooms bookers, hospitality and chef managers and client stakeholders in order to deliver five star services across our clients offices. We are looking for a commercial and people manager who has the ability to inspire and motivate their team through reward and recognition, training and development to ensure that the highest standard of client care is delivered to all internal staff, visitors and our colleagues in other service departments.

Ideally we are looking for someone with experience of managing multiple and varying events in a busy environment across many offices throughout London and the regions; meaning they are able to manage their time effectively and support their teams when needed depending on business requirements. Preferably, the individual will be confident in creating new processes and not be afraid to put innovative ideas forward.

Portico are responsible for all Welcome Services, Floor Hosting, Room Bookings, Events and Switchboard working as One Team with our partners in BaxterStorey and Benugo across the UK and Ireland. 

Shift pattern: 40 hours per week and In accordance to business needs 

Closest tube station: London Bridge for one office & Charing Cross or Embankment for the other, as well as Regional travel.

Salary: between £39,999.99
