SISTER/CHARGE NURSE
GYNAECOLOGY
£32,306 – £39,027 per annum/pro rata (AfC Band 6)
30 hours per week – PERMANENT
An opportunity has arisen for a well-motivated, enthusiastic individual who will provide a comprehensive nursing service for patients accessing Gynaecology services whilst ensuring a high standard of care.
You will take a lead in the coordination, planning and delivery of individual care provided by the multi-disciplinary team by ensuring the effective management in the absence of the Lead Nurse.
You will be a 1st level registered Nurse with extensive experience within speciality. You will be educated to diploma level and have evidence of relevant post registration education and development together with a recognised mentorship course
You will posses good communication, organisational and numerical skills, you will have the ability to organise your own work load and providing support to other members of the team as well as being methodical whilst paying attention to detail
Knowledge of Infection Control, Health and Safety, Risk Management and the NHS nursing agenda is essential
You must have the ability to work as part of a team and have effective decision-making skills
