You’ll have the following responsibilities

  • You’ll need to already Hold DV clearance due to the urgency of this role
  • You will be working in an Agile team, contributing to Sprint planning. Work planning, tracking and reporting.
  • Accountable: Plans own work to meet given objectives and processes.
  • Leadership: Influences customers and suppliers in delivery of work packages.
  • Accountable and leadership: Has some responsibility for the work of others and for the allocation of resources.
  • Leadership: Conducts interviews of Graduates and Apprentices
  • You’ll have the following skills & experience

  • Technical Skills (candidate is expected to demonstratre a subset of these skills. Specialisms or broader knowledge welcome):
  • Intermediate level Systems Engineer of non-trivial scale enterprise computing environments/associated network services.
  • Cross platform OS systems administration.
  • Virtualisation experience including VMware Vsphere & associated technologies
  • Networking configuration including Routers and Firewalls; dynamic routing and VPN configuration
  • Administration/engineering use of Scripting languages, such as Powershell, Bash, Python or Java.
  • Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Python development able to deliver applications interfacing to databases and external APIs, manipulating data and applying logical operations.
  • AWS cloud computing core (VPC, EC2, Elastic IP)
  • Automated deployments of systems using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, AWX
  • Code Management/file version tracking using Git
  • Deploying and administering software containers
  • PKI cryptography and Certificate Authority operations.
