Connex Education are recruiting on behalf of a school based in Smith’s wood, for a teaching assistant/learning support assistant. The successful candidate should have knowledge, understanding and experience with supporting autism in the classroom.

The qualifying Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant will have an enthusiastic approach to working with SEN, be resilient, able to think on their feet and adapt to new situations fast. This is crucial towards your role as you will be in both the classroom and hold small, independent, inclusion groups supporting with lower-level abilities and delivering planned lessons.

Applicants for this Autism Resource Provision Support vacancy must be Level 3 qualified and are required to have 6 months or more of recent experience supporting children with SEND in a mainstream or SEND environment.
