Robert Half is working exclusively with a brilliant organisation within non-for-profit based in Edinburgh with the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team. This is the ideal position for an ACCA/CIMA part qualified or someone with equivalent experience at this level.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role involves:

  • Accurately maintain all aspects of the Ledgers including accruals and recording of sales invoices;
  • Posting of cash receipts on a timely basis;
  • Assist in month end procedure by reconciling bank statement per timetable;
  • Assist in the review of Revenue against budget or forecast, to ensure completeness and accuracy of invoicing and to contribute variance analysis to monthly Finance Report;
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Supervision of Finance Assistant.

Profile

  • This role would suit a part qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience) with good knowledge of accounting standards;
  • Previous experience within non-for-profit preferred but not essential;
  • Great interpersonal skills;
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Salary between £31000 and £36000 per annum plus benefits depending on experience, plus excellent benefits.
