Field Service and Maintenance Operative
Temporary
£10.50 per hour
(Overtime paid after 40 hours at £15.75 per hour)
Our client specialises in the design, sale, installation and service of commercial heating, cooling and ventilation products. Their customers range from blue chip national organisations to smaller office, warehouse and retail sites.
The Role:
- Working with one of our qualified engineers to undertake service of cooling and ventilation equipment at customer sites.
- Travel around the country visiting our customer’s premises
- Please be aware this role will involve plenty of working hours and include stay aways from home.
- Working Hours often on the road for 5.30am
- A commitment to safe working practices
- Most of this work will be working at height as the equipment is mainly on roofs
- Use of tower scaffolds, scissor lifts etc
- Driving licence (preferably clean)
The Candidate:
- Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude
- Hold IPAF, harness & lanyard certificates – if not training will be given
- Have a flexible approach to working hours and the requirements for staying away
Overnight Staying Away Allowance:
- When staying away, the hotel is booked & paid.
- £25 meal allowance is paid per night
