Main duties of the job

The successful applicants will have extensive experience of working within a CAMHS setting and will have a good knowledge of child development. Successful applicants will be able to deliver consultation and brief, evidence based interventions with children, young people and families along with being able to offer consultation and training to professionals. Experience of service development, evaluation and partnership working would be an advantage.

Essential criteria

  • Registered Core Profession (e.g. Clinical Psychology, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Work and adhering to appropriate Professional Registration (e.g. HCPC, NMC etc)
  • Registered Core Profession compliant with Mental Health Measure 2010
  • Clinical Masters Degree or equivalent or experience indicating performance at masters level
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and/or achievement of or working towards post graduate training in a relevant therapeutic modality e.g Family Therapy/CBT/EMDR
  • Desirable criteria
