This is an exciting secondment opportunity to provide educational and pastoral support to Internationally Educated Nurses. As a Practice Development Nurse, part of your main duties will be to 
educationally prepare Overseas Nurses to undertake the NMC Test of Competence. 

We are in the process of expanding our team that recruit and support our Internationally Educated Nurses and this is an opportunity to be at the forefront of those changes.

Main duties of the job

You will deliver skills training and be expected to assess and provide feedback to those individuals on our programme to ensure that they are all adequately prepared to sit the final aspect of the NMC’s Test of Competence. 

You will work with the band 7 PDNs to ensure that the programme content is up to date and relevant to ensure that the IEN’s have the best possible training and education to prepare them for the OSCE.

You would also liaise with the Pastoral PDN and the Ward Managers to ensure a smooth transition for the IEN’s into their new roles within the HB.
