Rapid Response Care Assistant – Stirling.

SCRT is establishing a Rapid Response service in Stirlingshire consisting of preferably experienced Care Assistants who will cover from 7am – 10pm on an early and late shift pattern over a 5 day period.

The main purpose of this role is to facilitate hospital discharges and to prevent unnecessary admissions to hospital.   On average service users will usually receive a service from us for up to 2 weeks before transferring to a set run or mainstream care at home team. It is expected there will be a high turnover of service users and the focus will be on improving, where possible, independence and maximising people’s abilities.

These positions also support our existing staff to cover any outstanding care visits as required meaning a flexible approach to working is essential.

We want to be there when people need us which means our team of dedicated Care Assistants will need to be able to provide home care services throughout the Stirlingshire Area.

You will assist our new Service Users with:

  • Reablement Care
  • Personal Care
  • Medication Support
