The Role

Oakfield Veterinary Group Tamworth have an exciting opportunity for a nurse to join their busy practice! This role would be ideal for either a second-year student or a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse who wants to become part of a supportive team. We are looking for someone who is organised and dedicated to providing a high standard of animal care. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota. No out of hours requirement. The salary for this role is up to £26,998 depending on experience.

About Us

Oakfield Veterinary Surgery is based in Tamworth and has close links to the M42. We are a long-standing practice with a small but fantastic team in a beautiful, rural location with a very loyal client base. We are kitted out with fantastic facilities including 3 consult rooms, a theatre, digital X-ray facilities, a laser therapy unit, an ultrasound scanner and also a cardiac scanner. By far the best part of our practice is our amazing team, we have 2 vets, 5 veterinary nurses and 2 receptionists. We are a close-knit practice and work together to provide the very best service we can. We are happy to accept applications from less experienced candidates due to the fantastic support system we have in place. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow with us!

Applicant Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in theatre, radiography, reception, lab work and nurse consults. You must be a team player, who is compassionate and has great communication skills.
