Shopify is in a unique position to help agencies to deliver on their merchants digital transformation. 

We are looking for a  Partner Insights Manager , with deep expertise of measuring success of partners performance, product usage and programs in a scalable way across the EMEA region. 

You will be responsible for helping the regional agency partnerships team make data-informed decisions, identifying opportunities for improvement, spot trends as well as recognise potential issues. This work is aimed at improving efficiency, increasing productivity and driving profit for the business. The role will also be a vital support for our agency partners by providing market insights, vertical trends and product usage benchmarking to help steer our partners on the right growth path.

You will work closely with the in-country agency teams, the global agency program team and our cross-functional business partners in business operations, data science, and the merchant-facing teams such as sales, technology services, partner support and merchant success, in EMEA, North America & APAC

Reports to: EMEA Program Lead, Agency Team, Revenue EMEA. Interim reporting to Aoife Dowling, Head of Agency Partnerships for EMEA.

Youll get to do things like:

Be the custodian of regional team performance and reporting

  • Own and develop portfolio metrics to the realities of the EMEA region and the current stage of the business across markets

  • Develop & optimise design & reporting around regional teams performance

  • Working closely with leadership, to inform future strategies and plans

  • Working closely with business & revenue operations for alignment on plans

  • Help us structure and drive our business cadence & rhythm

  • Support with all necessary data & analytics, including agency performance metrics & the sales forecasts, the EMEA weekly, monthly & quarterly cadence

  • Drive our rhythm and analytics around Pipeline/funnel velocity (time to win, close & win rates) analysis

  • Improve our Insights and analytics to optimise Partner Manager Performance:

  • Produce and drive insights around the key business metrics to help drive the GTM across all of our markets in EMEA

  • Understanding the different data sources within the business 

  • Tableau, Mode & SFDC Dashboard & Report design, extraction, publication/automation to optimise daily workflows and insights. Develop reports and dashboards .

  • Develop best practices and visibility around CRM hygiene. Enable the agency team to improve efficiencies as we think about pipeline health.

  • Ensure the team are trained on the different data types, dashboards and KPIs

  • Highlight patterns and trends that may influence operations and future goals

  • Weekly reporting for market leads to monitor the health of each markets agency ecosystem

  • Weekly reporting for partner managers optimise their agency portfolio

  • Monthly reporting to track team performance against targets

  • Identify where and how we can grow through external Partner Intelligence Support:

  • Provide intelligence for our partners through vertical trends and market insights to help identify new growth opportunities (e.g. new verticals, markets etc)

  • Partner performance benchmarking to help identify gaps and opportunities in their product usage and help enter new segments.

  • Seasonal trends and opportunities for partners to help them drive growth in critical commerce periods.

  • Support partner QBRs

  • Qualifications

  • Expert in Excel/SQL and/or GSheets. Able to pull various raw data from databases and write complex formulas to aggregate data.
  • Proven experience with data management and Salesforce.com administration to author, design and improve dashboards 

  • Passion for automation, increasing efficiencies & working with technology and data

  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations, story-telling, facilitation and consultative questioning

  • Ability to be proactive and relentless: capable of seeking information independently, solving conceptual problems, and corralling resources and delivering results

  • A proven track record of delivering impactful results.

  • Excitement for working with a remote team; you value collaborating on problems, asking questions, delivering feedback, and supporting others in their goals whether they are in your vicinity or entire cities apart.

  • Nice to have for the role:

  • MODE, Tableau experience ideal

  • Experience reporting on campaigns, using analytical tools such as Mode, Bizible, Google Analytics advantageous 

  • Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms such as Marketo and Marketing Cloud advantageous

  • Comfortable learning new applications/tools quickly with minimal direction

  • Strong understanding of Shopifys ecosystem & partners, and commitment to growing an our revenue channel via partnerships
