We make promises to our customers, and we’ll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • To support NHS Supply Chain’s objectives of delivering clinically correct, high-quality, value for money products to the NHS. Enabling NHS Supply Chain’s clinical programme through engagement with clinical stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Support the build of clinical procurement specifications using clinical engagement, evidence-based practice, standards and legislation.
  • To develop Information for Clinical Choice (ICC) matrices and clinical support documents to provide clinicians and procurement with a tool to inform product switching and achievement of savings
  • To participate in clinical councils that form part of the engagement and agreement of clinical specifications / methodology for evaluations.
  • To support the evaluation process of products to be procured
  • The role will involve a high level of clinical engagement at a local trust and National, Integrated Care System (ICS) and Primary Care Network level (PCN), working with cross functional teams and supporting clinical procurement via Clinical Collaboration. The output of which will be for NHS Trusts to gain tangible savings whilst maintaining or enhancing product quality, efficiencies and value on the choices they make through working with NHS Supply Chain.

  • Essential – Registered General Nurse / AHP

  • Essential – Full and Current Vaccinations
