We are looking for someone to join our team as a Patient Pathway Tracker to work service-wide to review waiting lists, liaise with clinical staff and book in patients for treatment.

You will be supported by your immediate team, management and clinicians and be surrounded by a friendly, highly competent workforce who will be there for you. We have taken time to create this supportive model and culture in our service.

We’re focused on clinical excellence, innovation and collaborative working in both our Time to Talk core service and our Time to Talk Health long-term conditions service.

Main duties of the job

You will work across Time to Talk’s three localities and sister service Time to Talk Health, reviewing waiting lists, liaising with clinical staff and contacting patients to book in treatment.

We are working toward providing our patients with increased hours of service. The post holder may be required to work flexibly between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday-Friday.

The successful candidate will be based in one of our three sites in Crawley, Horsham or Burgess Hill. Travel may be required.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The successful candidate will work as part of a small, friendly team. The main duties include reviewing our waiting lists, identifying suitable patients for suitable treatment appointment and booking in initial treatment sessions.

Excellent communication skills are essential to deal with a wide variety of patient queries and needs. The post holder must be able to document clear and accurate records that reflect information provided during the booking process. This is a busy office working environment it is therefore essential to possess the ability to prioritise and multi-task the competing demands of patients and colleagues alike.

Essential criteria

  • Educated to GCSE/equivalent experience incl’ English
  • Desirable criteria

  • NVQ level 2 in business administration/or equivalent experience
  • ECDL certificate

  • At least 1 years experience in an administrative/secretarial role within the last 3 years
