We are looking for an experienced IT support person to join our busy, exciting User Support Team.

Support provided by the User Support includes desktops/laptops, mobile devices, telephony, standard productivity applications and peripherals. Members of the User Support Team may be located in schools or departments outside of DTS.

The role of the User Support Analyst is to provide support at desk side and by a remote assistance tool. Direct IT telephone support will also be provided to students sitting remote exams when required. The team also supports the Universities busy calendar of events including Welcome Week, Clearing and summer pre sessional activities. Microsoft Teams, Live Team events and Hybrid events throughout the teaching day, some evenings and weekends are also supported.

This role is not just technical and involves vital customer contact and the post holder will be expected to provide excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors of the University.

N.B. some manual handling work will be required.
