As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility to ensure the delivery of high quality care to patients by the assessment of care needs, the development of programmes of care, the implementation and the evaluation of these programmes.

The postholder is responsible for managing an allocated caseload within HMP Addiewell and as part of a specialist service for individuals who are experiencing a broad range of complex needs relating to substance misuse problems and related mental health problems. Promoting a harm reduction and recovery philosophy with all agencies and individuals in contact with the service.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
